Large woody evergreen climber, stems pubescent when young, glabrous coriaceous leaves with 3 leaflets, leaves to 140mm x 40mm. One to many-flowered terminal or axillary cymes or umbellate panicles, fragrant 80mm diameter white or pinkish flowers 7+ flowered heads, 4-7 sepals to 30mm long, greenish-white achenes to 5mm
