Fruiting Times
Monoecious perennial trailing or climbing scabrid plant with bifid, simple or trifid tendrils, scabrid angled stems. Tuberous root. 3 or 7 pinnately lobulate lobed leaves with white hairs beneath to 110mm x 66mm, scabrid both surfaces. Axillary monoecious yellow flowers to 8mm, male flower 12mm diameter, female flowers solitary to 10mm x 8mm with villous ovary. Globular smooth fruit to 120+mm diameter longitudinally striped green & white, or yellow all over.
