Climbing twining herb with striate stems, pilose when young. Mucronate leaves to 105mm x 90mm, glabrous above & pilose or tomentose beneath. Pistillate inflorescence with 5-15 flowers in a raceme or panicle to 200mm long with mucronate pilose bracts to 10mm x 6mm, pitillate flowers with 1 sepal 1mm x 0.7mm pilose outside & 1 petal 0.5mm x 0.5mm pilose outside. Pilose drupe to 4mm x 5mm.
