Sprawling or scrambling woody twining or erect shrub or tree to 8m with pendant or trailing lenticellate glabrous branches. Coriaceous leaves to 130mm x 60mm glabrous above. Lax cymes, axillary racemes or panicles to 110mm long with minute bracts to 1.5mm long, fragrant 8mm long white or yellow flowers, glabrous calyx 2.5mm long with minute lobes, white or yellowish or rose corolla glabrous outside, tube to 8mm x 5mm with triangular lobes to 4mm long, in axillary 3-flowered panicles or racemes to 75mm long, yellow corolla usually with reddish lines, tube to 6mm long, lobes 3mm long. White glabrous fruits a white drupe 7mm wide x 8mm long with persistent calyx
