Pubescent twiner with leaves 60mm x 32mm hairy pubescent both surfaces, later caymes or umbels with minute pubescent bracts, of flowers to 17mm long, pubescent sepals 4mm long x 0.5mm, corolla tube whitish or blue-green yellow below 18mm long pubescent outside & glabrous within black in upper part, lobes 5mm x 3mm pubescent on back blue-green turning black, outer 5-lobed corona lobes to 0.4mm with 5 pockets hairy inside, inner coronal lobes to 2.5mm with incurved blackish tips, glabrous follicles
