Herbaceous twiner with glabrous stems, glabrous leaves 60mm x 32mm, inflorescence with bracts to 1.5mm long, greenish flowers purple-red inside & white at top, sepals 4mm long, corolla tube abruptly curved near base, 4mm diameter at base & 6mm diameter in centre 8mm diameter at mouth glabrous outside hairy within, corolla lobes 9mm long glabrous both sides, outr coronal lobes 1mm x 1.5mm glabrous outside hairy within, inner coronal lobes 2.6mm long covered with long hairs on back
