Glabrous tuberous twining perennial. Leaves to 110mm x 8mm. Pubescent umbellate cymes of 3-4 purple flowers inside, pale yellowish-green outside, lobes, joined apically, to 35mm x 15mm with 5 petals to 35mm x 8mm. Follicles 130mm x 5mm.
