Scandent herbaceous glabrous or puberulent twiner to 1.2m. Trifoliolate glabrous or puberulent leaves, mucronate leaflets , terminal leaflet to 70mm x 20mm. 1-4-flowered racemes with puberulent bracts to 10mm long, 25mm long violet to off-white flowers, white flowers, violet inside with white spot in centre to 40mm diameter, lilac corolla, calyx tube 2mm long with teeth to 9mm long, standard to 55mm wide with white centre with purple lines, wings & keel much shorter, legume 130mm long x 4mm , slightly woody glabrous herbaceous twiner. Legumes to 125mm x 4mm ending in 25mm long awn
