Perennial herbaceous slightly woody twiner or trailer. Trifoliolate foliage ferrugineous-tomentose beneath with pubescent leaflets to 100mm long. Axillary solitary, paired or 70mm racemes of 40mm long white, green calyx, pink or pale purple flowers with hairy bracts, purple & green stripes on standard, occasionally yellowish or whitish with purple lines, standard 45mm wide, wings & keel shorter. Green pod to 200mm long x 6mm.
