Herb, shrub or liana with pendent verruculous scabrous or glabrous branches. Denticulate leaves glabrous above scaberulent beneath to 320mm long x 140mm. Terminal racemes to 150mm long with bracts to 180mm long, curved 70mm long red, purple or yellow flowers with orange tips & bracts 10mm x 24mm, triangular sepals to 15mm long, pilose red or orange-red & yellow corolla to 50mm long, upper corolla lobe to 5mm x 12mm, lower lobes 8mm long, filament tube 55mm long, dull purple ribbed berry 12mm diameter
