Erect or scandent suffruticose herb to 1.5m, pubescent stems. Leaves pubescent to 155mm x 77mm. Solitary axillary flowers, pubescent calyx lobes to 29mm x 3mm, pubescent corolla orange, red or dark red, paler or yellow within to 60mm long, tube to 45mm x 7mm, falcate dorsal lobes to 17mm x 5mm, ventral lobes to 12mm x 3.5mm. Berry to 12mm x 15mm with tardily deciduous calyx lobes.
