Scrambling or erect herb or subshrub, leaves & branches glabrous. Leaves 70mm x 40mm. Axillary or terminal lax spikes or panicles to 100mm x 10mm with bracts to 1mm. Tepals whitish somewhat reddish-tipped to 4mm long, mucronulate dark brown or yellowish sepals to 5mm long, capsule 3mm long
