Fruiting Times
Evergreen twining shrub or liane to 20m, stems with white lenticels. Glabrous serrulate leaves to 170mm x 70mm. Axillary thyrses, sometimes terminal, to 200mm long, yellowish-green to white 3mm flowers, sepals to 1mm, petals to 2.5mm x 1.8mm. Fruit a black capsule to 18mm x 14mm, seed with scarlet aril.
