Evergreen twining shrub to 30m with stems with white lenticels. Glabrous coriaceous dentate leaves to 145mm x 60mm. Terminal or axillary thyrses or cymes to 140mm of pale green flowers with five 2.5mm x 1mm white petals, 5 sepals to 1.5mm. Capsule to 11mm x 9mm with persistent sepals.
