Deciduous twining shrub with lenticellate branchlets. Coriaceous leaves to 100mm x 65mm. Axillary to terminal panicles to 60mm of 5mm green flowers, sepals to 2mm, petals to 5mm x 2.2mm. 10mm wide orange-yellow fruit splitting to reveal red-coated seeds
