Twining shrub with lenticellate purple-brown branchlets. Mucronate leaves to 45mm x 40mm with serrulate margins. Axillary cymes rarely terminal with 1-4 flowers, male flowers with sepals to 1.5mm x 2mm, petals to 2.5mm, female flowers similar. Fruit a capsule to 7mm wide.
