Woody annual sometimes hairy tendril dioecious liana to 5m with 1-3fid tendrils, hairy hoary stems becoming glabrescent. Pubescent leaves, leaflets to 9, serrated & downy white-pubescent beneath, central leaflet to 70mm x 20mm. Pubescent axillary polychasiums or corymbose leaf-opposed cymes to 80mm across of white flowers, villous calyx, 4 glabrous petals to 2.2mm long. Fruit a greenish white to red berry to 15mm diameter.
