Fruiting Times
Simple to trifid tendril herbaceous vine with mostly glabrous stems & leaves. 2-5 lobed leaves with winged petioles, leaves scabrous above, puberulous beneath to 200mm x 200mm, lobes dentate. Axillary racemes of campanulate unisexial flowers to 8mm diameter, creamy yellow to greenish white flowers. Male flowers in 6-20 flowered panicles, racemes or fasciclers, calyx lobes to 1.5mm, corolla to 8mm x 6mm with lobes 3mm diameter. Pistillate flowers with calyx lobes 2.5mm x 1.5mm, corolla to 12mm x 2mm.t 5mm long, tube 3mm long pubescent. Dark green fruit maturing red-orange, oval, to 18mm x 10mm.
