Glabrous liana with 3-5 lobed leaves to 200mm x 210mm with denticulate margins. , bifid or trifid tendrils. Solitary flowers or rcemes of fragrant flowers. Male inflorescence to 80mm, flowers green outside, white inside with corolla to 20mm x 12mm. Female flower 35mm long x 18mm, calyx lobes to 1mm, corolla to 16mm x 18mm flowers. Round green glabrous fruits maturing orange or red to 45mm x 37mm.
