Dioecious bifid or rarely trifid monoecious tendril climber with 3-5-lobed leaves to 200mm x 180mm. Axillary male racemes of greenish-white flowers to 15mm wide, flowers with sepals to 3mm x 1mm, petals to 6.4mm x 6mm. Female flowers greenish-white in axillary groups of 1-2, sepals to 1.5mm x 0.5mm. petals to 3.5mm x 2.5mm. Purple-brown glabrescent fruit 12mm x 8mm.
