Herbaceous simple tendril climber or trailer with glabrous stems. Scabrous trilobate denticulate leaves to 150m x 110mm. Panicles of axillary greenish-white flowers turning yellow or solitary flowers, calyx tube to 10mm x 20mm, sepals to 2mm long, green corolla to 5mm long. Small green round fruits ripening orange to 12mm diameter.
