Climbing shrub or tree to 5m high. Pilose angled branchlets. Leaves glabrous above downy beneath to 200mm x 90mm. Axillary or terminal racemes of 7-25 whitish-red flowers with pale greenish or whitish green bracts to 30mm x 17mm with bracteoles to 4.5mm x 1mm, calyx to 9mm long withtube 4mm long & lobes to 4mm long. Pilose white tinged pink corolla to 25mm long. Pilose fruit to 14mm diameter.
