Liana or scandent hemi-epiphytic shrub to 4m with glabrous angled branchlets. Leaves to 200mm x 95mm, glabrous above, punctate & puberulent beneath. Axillary 6-15 flowered inflorescence with bracts to 30mm x 17mm, 40mm x 30mm floral bracts, calyx 10mm long with lobes to 4.2mm, corolla to 34mm x 11mm with lobes to 1.5mm.
