Hemi-epiphytic sometimes scandent shrub with pubescent branches or liana. Coriaceous leaves to 280mm x 110mm, glabrous above & setose beneath. Many-flowered terminal or axillary racemes with bracts to 30mm x 20mm & bracteoles to 4.5mm x 2mm, up to 52-flowered inflorescence, bracts pink to dark pink, glabrous calyx 8mm x 7mm with tube 3mm long & limbs to 5.5mm & 5 lobes 2.5mm x 3mm, pubescent corolla to 42mm x 7mm, white with white lobes with purple margins, hairy outside, 5 lobes 2mm long. Black fruit to 13mm diameter crowned with persistent calyx.
