Woody slender evergreen glabrous or slightly pubescent fleshy twining or creeping liana, branches rather flattened. 3-5 branched tendrils with sucker discs. Serrated mucronate leaflets to 60mm long, 3-foliolate leaves villous when young. Axillary or terminal corymb, dichasium or pubescent cymes to 50mm across of whitish flowers, 4 petals to 2mm long. Fruit a white or black berry to 8mm diameter.
