Spiny glabrous scrambling shrub to 5m, branches with spines to 25mm long. Leaves to 60mm x 25mm. Small white to cream flowers 2mm diameter in axillary dichomotous cymes. Fruit an orange berry to 13mm long, tipped with persistent style.
