Woody liana with lenticellate glabrous stems. Leaves to 130mm x 55mm, glabrous above, silky beneath. Axillary cymes of 2-3 flowers 20mm long with bracts to 3mm, flowers with bracteoles, sepals 2mm long. Fruit with 3 brown samaras, wings to 15mm x 11mm.
