Climber or glabrous pubescent shrub with spines to 40mm long. Mucronulate glabrous leaves to 75mm x 50mm. Glabrous cymes, flowers with calyx 2mm long, pale pink glabrous sepals, fragrant white corolla with tube to 9mm long hairy at throat, lobe to 60mm long. Scarlet edible berry to 16mm long.
