Scrambling shrub to 3m with glabrescent stems. Coriaceous glabrescent leaves to 65mm x 40mm with a long prickle at apex. Axillary solitary flowers, calyx to 50mm x 25mm, sepals to 25mm x 8mm, white petals to 35mm long. Reddish glabrous berry to 70mm x 25mm.
