Vine, shrub or rarely small tree to 10m, recurved spines. Glabrescent leaves to 130mm x 60mm. 2-5 flowered superaxillary rows of flowers, sepals to 6mm x 3mmm, white petals to 10mm x 3mm. Black to purple-black scabrous fruit to 15mm diameter.
