Spiny shrub or climber to 7.5m, recurved spines to 5mm. Flabrescent leaves to 200mm x 90mm. Axillary or terminal panicles to 200mm, 3 to 8 flowers, sepals to 12mm x 8mm, petals white to pink to 15mm. Reddish-purple-brown fruit 60mm x 50mm.
