Armed climber, puberulous branches with recurved thorns in pairs. Large coriaceous leaves to 225mm x 125mm, glabrous above, pubescent beneath. Terminal racemes to 200mm long, flower bracts to 12mm x 4mm, sepals to 10mm, white petals to 12mm long.
