Scandent shrub to 3m with recurved spines to 2mm, pubescent twigs & leaves. Leaves to 90mm x 40mm. Terminal umbels of white flowers, sepals 6mm x 5mm, petals 8mm x 5mm. Black-brown fruit 15mm diameter.
