Scandent shrub to 4m with recurved spoines to 3mm. Leaves to 80mm x 40mm. Axillary or terminal panicles of 5-12 flowers, sepals to 7mm x 3mm, yellowish-green maturing reddish, 4 white petals to 16mm x 5mm. Yellowish fruit to 18mm x 15mm.
