Fruiting Times
Large spiny scandent shrub to 20m, with stems densely pubescent becoming glabrescent, recurved thorns to 5mm long. Mucronate leaves glabrescent to 105mm x 40mm. Axillary or terminal panicles or corymbs with minute bracts, to 11 flowers, sometimes fragrant, white or greenish flowers, sepals to 6mm x 3mm, petals 6mm x 4mm, glabrous outside, villous inside. Yellow or reddish fruit 15mm diameter.
