Spiny velvety climber with spines to 20mm long. Brown-hairy leaves to 75mm x 35mm. Axillary cymes of flowers to 10mm long, calyx with minute teeth, glabrous corolla with ring of white hairs in throat. Black fruit to 12mm long.
