Herbaceous twiner with woody hirsute stems. Thin coriaceous leaves becoming glabrous, leaflets to 120mm long. Thyrses to 150mm long of 10-20 flowers with bracteoles, 35mm lavender flowers, calyx 18mm long with lip to 3mm, lilac standard veined violet 25mm long, rose wings to 18mm long including 4mm claw, rose-lilac keel to 30mm long. Hairy legume 120mm x 16mm with short beak.
