Liana with glabrous stems. Coriaceous strigillose leaves, leaflets to 100mm x 60mm. Scarlet flowers in many-flowered racemes with bractlets, calyx to 10mm long, standard to 15mm long. Glabrous woody pods to 100mm x 30mm with beak.
