Liane or scandent shrub, greenish-purple to reddish-brown lenticellate stems, glabrous, to 24m. Leaves 145mm x 32mm, up to 50 with crenulate serrulate margins. 10-25 fragrant flowers in axillary corymbs or cymes, slightly scented, white to yellow aging to yellow or orange to 3mm long, 5mm diameter, sepals 1mm long, petals to 3.2mm long. Mericarps to 60mm x 40mm.
