Sometimes scandent glabrous shrub to 3m. Coriaceous leaves to 160mm x 50mm with recurved denticulate-serrate margins. Terminal many-flowered panicles to 170 x long 7mm, yellow flowers to 10mm long x 7mm wide with basal bracts, sepals to 7.5mm x 3mm. Drupes with persistent calyx.
