Fruiting Times
Deciduous glabrous woody climber with aerial rootlets. Deciduous imparipinnate coarsely serrated leaves with 5-9 toothed leaflets to 800mm x 50mm. Pendulous 1000mm terminal panicles of 95mm wide scarlet & orange flowers, streaked inside, calyx to 32mm long with lobes to 10mm long, corolla tube to 50mm long & lobes to 25mm x 35mm. Fruit a capsule to 125mm long.
Flowers used medicinally.
