Twining vine or subshrub with glabrescent branches. Somewhat coriaceous leaves to 90mm x 40mm, glabrescent above & with reddish hairs beneath. Pale brown flowers with dull red patches & white centre in extra-axillary few-flowered inflorescences with bracts & bracteoles to 2mm long, calyx lobes to 3mm x 1.2mm, contorted corolla with tube to 0.5mm long, glabrous, lobes to 15mm x 7mm, finely hairy.
