Twining liana or subshrub, young branches with reddish hairs. Leaves to 140mm x 55mm, glabrescent above & densely red-hairy beneath. Lax hairy few-flowered cymes with bracts to 3mm long, calyx lobes to 0.9mm, hairy outside, glabrous inside, contorted corolla, greenish white with reddish spots, glabrous tube 0.4mm long & lobes to 9mm x 2.5mm, glabrous below with long erect white hairs, glabrous above & a few scattered long reddish hairs outside.
