Glabrous twining liana to 15m with lenticellate stems. Glabrous leaves to 65mm x 39mm, more coriaceous than type. Axillary fascicles with flowers with 2 bracteoles to 2mm long, 2 external sepals to 4mm long, 3 internal sepals to 4mm long, greenish-white corolla to 15mm long with obes to 6mm long. Fruit to 17mm long, covered with white tubercules & enclosed in 2 persistent sepals. Fruit with glabrous wings, largest to 65mm x 62, small wing to 25mm diameter.
