Tree or woody climbing shrub to 10m with glabrescent branches. Undulated mucronate leaves 150mm x 60mm glabrous above, glabrescent beneath. Axillary many-flowered cymes with minute ferrugineous bracts, of white flowers to 20mm long, puberulous sepals, outermost 12mm long, 3 inner sepals much smaller, whitish corolla to 20mm x 8mm. Fruit to 12mm long, enclosed in persistent sepals.
