Glabrous climber to 30m. Glabrescent leaves to 200mm x 90mm. White flowers with bracts to 9mm long & bracteoles to 12mm long in few-flowered axillary or terminal cymes to 15 flowers, purple-red calyx, outer sepals to 20mm x 15mm, inner sepals to 9mm x 3mm, white corolla to 60mm long with lobes to 12mm long. Purple winged glabrous fruit to 19mm x 12mm surrounded by 2 pinkish sepals.
