Small hairy twining herbaceous vine, branches with retrograde pili. Mucronate ternate leaflets to 60mm x 25mm glabrous above, pubescent beneath. Axillary racemes to 8 flowers, white, violet or blue flowers to 8mm long, 5 purple-blue petals white at base. Hairy green fruit maturing brown 40mm x 8mm.
