Scandent or erect shrub, subshrub or tree to 4m. Leathery leaves to 180mm x 80mm, glabrous above with a serrulate margin. Cymes to 20mm wide, fragrant flowers, whitish or lilac corol to 3mm. Purple to deep violet globose fruit to 2.5mm diameter.
