Erect or scandent shrub with hairy branches. Leaves, pedicels, calyces, corollas & ovaries glabrous. Leaves to 150mm x 85mm pubescent beneath. Super-axillary cymes to 80mm diameter with bracteoles 2mm long, calyx 1mm long with inconspicuous lobes, purple-pink corolla with tube 2mm long & glabrous lobes 0.5mm long. Purple-pink fruit 2mm diameter.
