Climbing tomentose semi-woody shrub to 9m. Entire leaves to 140mm x 100mm, glabrous above, golden tomentose beneath. Terminal & axillary many-flowered lax panicles or cymes of 2.5mm purple fragrant flowers, 4-toothed lanate calyx to 0.8mm long, 4-lobed glabrous corolla. Pubescent purple fruit to 3mm diameter.
